Sai as Lord Shiva

Megha was a devotee of Shiva and always chanted the five syllabled mantra 'Om Namah Shivay'.He was a brahmin cook of Rao Bahadur Sathe.Sathe pushed him to take Sai baba's darshan who himself was an embodied form of Lord Shiva.Megha was hestitant to meet baba after knowing that he was a Muslim. But Sathe urged him to visit baba and had asked his Father -in law at shirdi to introduce Megha to Sai baba. Now when Megha reached shirdi and went to the masjid to take baba's darshan,he was not welcomed  by baba. Not to mentioned baba surely could not have welcomed his doubting thought.Megha realised that baba had read his mind and now his mind was attached to baba and his mind was waiting for only one thing -Baba's grace. But his doubting mind took him to Tryambakeaswar{Lord Shivas's abode}.His mind was seeking solace which no doubt only baba could have given him.Probably somewhere his soul had ordered him to go back to shirdi-the only place where his mind would be ripe for his further spiritual growth. And that what was to happen to Megha. He returned to shirdi and baba changed his mind for his own uplifment. Now Megha began to consider baba as an incarnation of Shiva and worshipped him as he would have worshipped Lord Shiva.

On Makarsankrati day Megha wanted to give baba Gangasnan, but baba was not intrested.Megha persuaded baba to have bath as he knew Lord Shiva is pleased with the Abhisheka.Baba agreed but requested him to pour water only on the head as head is the most important organ. But in bhakti yoga the love spills over unknowingly.Megha cried out ,''Har Har Gange''and emptied the pot on the whole body. But to his surprise he found that only baba's head was drenched while the body dry. What a sweet leela of Baba.
