Chaitanya Mahaprabhu-An inspiration

The Chaitanya Jayanti is celebrated on the the full moon day of Phagun Month. It is considered as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's Birthday and this festival is also known as 'Gaura Poornima'. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu left his home at the age of 24 for the welfare of the society.


Lord Chaitanya propagated the teaching which leads to Nirvana by chanting the Lord's name “Hare Rama, Hare Krishna”. He taught that the holy name of the Lord is the sound incarnation of the Lord and that since the Lord is the absolute whole, there is no difference between His holy name and His transcendental form. Thus, by chanting this, one can directly be associated with the Supreme power of the lord; only by this sound's vibration.
